There are three basic modes of parking, based on the vehicle arrangement

1.       Parallel parking:-

Parallel parking is the most common parking mode on the side of the street. It can also be used in lots and parking structures "but only to replace the parking spaces that use the other modes. () The minimum measures for this type of parking are *. +, m wide -m of lard # o "this in order to have a wide maneuvering area between each car.

1.       Perpendicular parking:-
With perpendicular parking "cars are parked side by side" perpendicular to a corridor "to a curb" or to a wall. This mode of parking is of more scale than parallel parking and is therefore generally used in parking lots and parking structures.

The minimum measures in this type of parking is * ., m wide by / meters of lar # o

1.       Parking lot:-
The parking lot is similar to perpendicular parking "except that cars are driven in aisle to aisle 0 to aisle with the direction of approach. This is easier for drivers and therefore allows that park more quickly. It only requires a unidirectional corridor that can therefore be narrower "so that more an- tiular than perpendicular parking lots can fit into a space.
